About Katelyn

My passion for childcare stems from the joy I have found as a big sister babysitting my younger foster siblings. My parents have been foster parents for the past 5 years, and I have gotten to know some of the most wonderful kids. Some of them had never even had a birthday party or seen Santa before, and it really put things into perspective for me. I wanted to give them everything I could since they had never had it. When I babysit them, I do crafts with them, paint their nails, do their makeup, cook, and take them outside or to target. I have five years of experience caring for children aged 0-12+, and I am comfortable with up to four children at a time. I love playing outdoor sports (2 years experience in MMA), board games, puzzles, and educational games. I have a car, am semi fluent in Spanish and ASL, am comfortable with all pets, and hold current CPR Training. I'm happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, tutoring, travel, and swimming supervision
