Hi, my name is Katelyn! I am a recent graduate of Grand Canyon University where I obtained my degree in psychology and child development, and currently working towards my Early Childhood Special Education license. I am a special education preschool teacher, so I am working with kids everyday. I have experience with kids of all abilities and ages. I am fully comfortable working with children with special needs, as this is what I specialize in. Throughout school, I was a nanny for a few different families ranging in ages 6 months-8 years old. Aside from nannying, I have also coached cheer, dance, and swim lessons to kids of all ages. I am CPR and first aid trained as well. Between my education and experience, I am very knowledgeable and know how to properly care for children while having a blast! I am currently working as a special education preschool teacher during the day, but I am available for date nights and weekend help. Please reach out if you are in need of a sitter!

Katelyn was our nanny last summer for our 4 and 7 years old. She was always on time, had lots of energy, and thought of lots of creative activities. Katelyn is a certified life guard and swam with my kids daily. She took them on outings to the Children's Museum, did arts and crafts and played lots of games. She also prepared meals and cleaned up afterwards. She continued to care for my kids on weekends after her summer job ended, and my kids were always excited to have her babysit. She is very reliable, has a positive attitude, and communicated with me and my husband well. I would happily have her watch my kids again but she moved away after graduating college. She is a wonderful nanny and will be an asset to any family.
