About Katelyn

Hi! My name is Katelyn and I am a junior nursing major at The URI and I'm currently beginning my nursing clinicals with newborns and children, which has been an exciting and rewarding experience. I have a lot of hands-on experience caring for kids. I grew up helping take care of my four younger siblings, so being around children of different ages has always been a big part of my life. I've also babysat for families for date nights and evenings and really enjoy spending time with kids, whether that's playing games, helping with homework, or just keeping them safe and comfortable while parents are out. I'm patient, responsible, and easy to communicate with. I'm CPR certified, have my own car, and I'm comfortable around pets. I always try to follow parents' routines and rules so kids feel secure and parents feel at ease. I'd love the opportunity to help out your family!
