About Katelyn

It is almost impossible to put into words what Katelyn has meant to our family. She began caring for our twins, when they were just three months old and was with our family five days a week for more than five years, until they started school. She wasn't simply their nanny, she became part of our family and will forever be a huge part of some of their earliest and most special memories. Katelyn was there for so many of their “firsts,” and one of the things I will always appreciate most about her is how thoughtful she was about including my husband and me in those moments. She understood how hard it can be as working parents to miss things, and she always found a way to take pictures, save something special, or make us feel like we were part of the moment even when we couldn't physically be there. That meant more to us than she will ever know. She filled their days with so much love, fun, creativity, and adventure. She was constantly doing arts and crafts with them, planning activities, playing with them, and finding ways to make ordinary days special. We still have so many of the crafts and keepsakes they made with Katelyn, and years later, they remain some of my most treasured things from their early childhood. Beyond the love she gave our children, Katelyn was incredibly helpful in our home. She cooked for the kids, cleaned up after them, kept their things organized, and truly took care of them in every sense of the word. Having someone we trusted completely with our two babies and eventually two very busy toddlers and preschoolers gave us a level of comfort and peace of mind that is invaluable as a parent. Our children are now 10 years old, and Katelyn is still a permanent part of their core memories. When I look back at those first five years of their lives, she is woven into so many of them. There is something incredibly special about the person who helps you raise your babies, and we will forever be grateful that Katelyn was that person for our family. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have Katelyn care for their children. She is loving, dependable, creative, nurturing, and truly invested in the children she cares for. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She will always hold a very special place in our family's hearts.
