About Katelyn

Hi! My name is Kate. I am the second oldest of 12 children, so I grew up surrounded by children of all ages and learned from an early age how to care for different personalities and needs. I have a B. A. in Child Development and Education and 5+ years of experience as a teacher. Working with children has always been my passion and I love creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. I enjoy planning age-appropriate activities like arts and crafts, sensory play, reading, cooking, outdoor adventures, and exploring nature. I am also a mom to my sweet 8-month-old baby boy and I am looking for a family who is comfortable with me bringing him along while I provide care. I believe this can be a wonderful opportunity for children to have a built-in friend to play and learn alongside while still receiving individualized attention and care.
