About Katelyn

Hi! My name is Katelyn, and I'm currently taking Early Childhood Education courses with a passion for working with children. I have 3 years of lifeguarding experience. I'm CPR and First Aid trained. I have volunteer experience working with children, including children with special needs, through my church. I worked mainly with grade school children for 4 years. I love creating a fun and safe environment where kids can learn, play, and be themselves. I value a relationship with families and children and believe trust and respect are super important! I like working with kids because I like getting to know children and their different personalities. I think childhood development is super important and children need a safe, respectful environment. I'm looking for a family that I can connect with and build a trusting relationship with. I want to be a part of your child's life in a supportive and fun environment. I also am looking to gain experience for my future job, a preschool teacher.
