Working in childcare and education is my passion. With almost two decades of experience, I am highly qualified to meet your family's needs with a wide range of skills. I am experienced with newborns, toddlers, preschool, and school-aged children. I hold a Maine Special Education Teacher Certification. I have a deep understanding of current academics to aid in homeschooling or tutoring, as well as a love for extracurricular activities like crafts and the outdoors. I am organized, detail-oriented, and an experienced cook, lending to my ability to be a successful household manager if needed. I am also CPR certified for infants through adults. Most recently I have been employed as the director at a local childcare facility but would like more time to spend with 9-month-old twins. I am seeking a position where I could bring them with me or provide in-home childcare.

Katelyn was a terrific nanny for our 1-year-old daughter. She is smart, caring, warm, creative, very responsible, and reliable. Our daughter thoroughly enjoyed her time with Kate. She was very genuine in the relationship she built with our child, and took the utmost care with attention to detail in making sure that our child's needs were being met. She followed our instructions with no problems, always made every effort to treat our child in the manner we wished, and also handled difficult situations very smoothly. I highly recommend Kate. She has a wonderful connection with children, is very creative and fun, and understands the importance of her role in a child's development and life.
