I'm Katelyn, I've been nannying for 10+ years and truly love what I do. I grew up in Massachusetts helping my mom run her home daycare, so caregiving has always been always been a part of my life. I've worked with families across MA, CO (where I lived for 3. 5 years) and now I'm in Kona HI, studying for my massage license and looking to nanny while here. I've cared for children of all ages and supported pediatric OTs with sensory and developmental needs. I'm known for being nurturing, reliable, fun, and full of creative energy. I love the outdoors, staying active, and am always down for a dance party in the kitchen or a nature walk. I'm the kind of nanny who celebrates your kid's quirks, cheers them on, and helps them feel seen, heard, and loved. I also have a reliable car and adore pets as I grew up on a small farm! Nannying is more than work for me- it's something I genuinely feel called to do.
Katie was fantastic with our 11-month-old son, C. . She quickly earned our trust and we always felt comfortable leaving him in her care. Katie is a natural with young children. She is confident, playful, and engaging, and C. loved spending time with her. She kept him entertained, took him on walks, fed him dinner, gave him bottles and baths, and handled every part of his evening routine with ease. What stood out to me most was her confidence. She seemed to know exactly what to do while also asking thoughtful questions when needed, which was the perfect balance. We happened to hire Katie during a hectic time because we were moving. She cared for C. in both our old and new house and transitioned right along with us without missing a beat. She was also incredibly flexible, staying later than planned so we could finish moving and get settled. That kind of adaptability meant so much to us. The evening hours with an 11-month-old can be unpredictable, but Katie handled the "witching hour" with patience, humor, and a calm presence. We would happily recommend her to any family looking for a dependable, capable, and genuinely wonderful caregiver.
