I love caring for seniors because I learn something from each person I work with. It makes me happy to have a positive impact on someone in return. I started caring for seniors when I was in high school as a Home Health Aide, which inspired me to go to school to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. I recently moved back to Lewiston from Vermont, where I worked the last 4 years as a Home Health PTA. I also am a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Though I'm not currently working as a PTA, I'm happy to provide encouragement and safety education for exercise and mobility. I'm looking to work a few hours a week where I can connect with someone. I have a son who is 1 and while I love being able to stay at home with him, I often find myself missing connecting with others.
