About Katelyn

I would describe my personality as patient, caring, and fun. I love working with kids because I enjoy watching them learn, grow, and become more confident. I want children to feel safe, comfortable, heard, and included while also having fun. I started working with kids in 2018, and since then I have really enjoyed helping children learn and feel supported. My childcare strengths are patience, communication, and positive behavior guidance. I stay calm when children are upset, listen to their feelings, and use encouragement and redirection to help them make good choices. I'm looking for a job where I can make a positive impact on children's lives and create a fun, supportive environment. I want families to know that I truly care about their children and will treat them with kindness, respect, and patience. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, going to the beach, being outdoors, listening to music, and trying new things.
