About Katelyn

I have a passion for creating a safe and nuturing environment when working with children. I'm working toward my degree in Elementary Education, and over the years I've developed an approach rooted in a few things I really believe in: giving kids room to make their own choices when it's safe to do so, helping them name and work through big feelings instead of just redirecting them, and building learning into everyday moments rather than treating it like a separate task. I'm often described as calm and warm hearted. I have multiple years of experience in healthcare and in childcare. I currently have my CPR certification and Food Handlers card as well as multiple credits of Early Childhood Development and Education courses. Beyond that, I am here to make your life easier whether that is household chores or errands. Communication is very important to me. Trusting someone with your child is one of the biggest decisions a parent can make and I will make sure to provide the best care possibl
