Hello! My name is Katelyn, I am a 23 year old graduate from Marymount Manhattan College with a BA in Developmental Psychology. My childcare journey began with babysitting for my family when I was 13, which developed into being a TA at a preschool in CT for two years during high school, and once I moved to NYC I got to nanny for a lovely family of two girls. I am currently working as a supervisor at a vegan restaurant, but I am hoping to get back into childcare as I find it more fulfilling. I love working with people in general, but the stay-at-home type of work is definitely more my pace. I enjoy doing housework, cooking and prepping meals, helping with schoolwork, going to the park/on walks, taking care of pets (no cats sadly I am highly allergic) and much more! Hopefully, we can chat soon and see if this could be a good fit for all parties involved! Currently looking for a full time position, beginning in late August / September. Extra note; I am currently learning Spanish! :)

Katelyn cared for my 3.5 year old daughter 5 days a week for 1 month after school let out until I got home from work and did an excellent job. My daughter loved spending time with her and Katelyn showed enthusiasm and care. She is always punctual, kind, and showed great interest in my child. I intend on hiring her when needed in the future.
