About Katelyn

Hi! My name is Katelyn, and I'm a Biology student at UTSA with a passion for working with children. I have 3 years of experience in childcare, including daycare and babysitting, and I've also taken a course in Early Childhood Education, which increased my interest in child development and how early experiences can help children become confident and successful in the future. I'm responsible, patient, caring, and dependable, and I enjoy creating a safe and positive environment where children can learn, play, and be themselves. I love getting to know each child's personality and interests and finding fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and creativity. I'm comfortable helping with homework, meals, routines, playtime, and other everyday needs. I also have CPR and First Aid training from my previous childcare experience. I understand how important it is for parents to trust the person caring for their children and I look foward to building that relationship.
