Hi!! My name is Katie and I am a recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh with a B. S. in Neuroscience and Biology. The career path is to become a Pediatric Neurosurgeon :) I have about 10 years of experience being a babysitter/nanny, ranging in ages of newborn-15 years old. I enjoy spending time with kids of all ages and of all neurological capabilities. I do not smoke. My goal as a caregiver is to engage kids in fun activities and adventures, while keeping them safe and happy. I do have my own transportation so adventures can range from near or far. I do have my own fur baby at home so no concern about pets (I see them as a plus!)

Katie is a fantastic choice for childcare! She spent an afternoon with my 1-year-old while my wife and I were busy with a home improvement project. Katie almost instantly developed a rapport with my little one, no easy task since she was fussy with teething pain that day. I could hear that Katie was constantly engaging her in play and developmentally appropriate learning. While my daughter napped, Katie continued to look for ways to be helpful, offering to do dishes or laundry even though that wasn't part of the job description. Will definitely hire her again.
