About Katelyn

I spent six years as an Activities Coordinator at CC Village in Darien, an assisted living facility. I built genuine relationships with residents and planned and led daily activities, keeping what they loved, improving others, and replacing those that didn't engage them. I always looked for new ways to include as many residents as possible. Off the clock I spent time one-on-one with residents walking, sharing meals, reading, and chatting about their lives. I love to talk and connect with people, which made this work feel natural and fulfilling to me. Since then I've worked as a nanny and currently volunteer with Hospice, which has strengthened my compassion, patience, and ability to support people through important moments in life. Although I'm now a full-time nanny, I truly miss working with older adults. Caring for the elderly is a passion of mine, and I bring warmth, reliability, and a person-centered approach to my caregiving.
