About Katelyn

Hi! My name is Katelyn. I have 3 1/2 years of healthcare experience exclusively in geriatrics. I worked at a local nursing home for a year and I have worked in a hospital on a medical/surgical unit for the last 2 years. I am used to working in a fast paced environment and have great time management skills. I have experience with many different types of dementia and Alzheimer's patients and many other different types of conditions. And patients who require total care, minimal care or just simple supervision and occasional help with tasks. I also am a nursing student and begin in the fall. I am very passionate about nursing and love learning new things in healthcare. As mentioned before I have worked in healthcare for 3 years, I have my CNA certification and my PCT certification, and additionally my CPR certification that is kept up to date. I also have been tested for TB within the last year and if needed can provide vaccination records.
