About Katelyn

I have several years of experience caring for children in a patient, attentive, and nurturing way. From ages 7 to 9, I regularly watched a child with autism, which helped me develop strong communication skills, flexibility, and an understanding of each child's unique needs. I focused on creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment where he felt comfortable and engaged. We spent time playing games, doing structured and creative activities, and following routines that worked best for him. I also helped care for his sister, and together we enjoyed doing crafts, art projects, and other hands-on activities that encouraged creativity and cooperation. Through this experience, I learned the importance of patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement while building trust with both children. I take pride in being reliable, kind, and attentive, and I always strive to support children's emotional, social, and developmental growth.
