About Katelyn

Hey there! My name is Katelyn, and I am passionate about animal welfare and childcare. I am bubbly and creative, and I love playing cool games and exploring nature. I believe in stimulating children's minds through experience and hands-on learning opportunities. I also love feeling like a kid again and watching the kids I care for enjoy their childhood. I took my gap year with CityYear Miami, where I gained a lot of hands-on classroom experience and truly got the opportunity to explore my passion for working with children. During my last two years of high school, I babysat children ages 3-8. I also volunteered with the1-year-olds at my church and loved working with babies. I am a second-year Lynn University student studying Social Impact and Entrepreneurship. I plan to teach after college.
