About Katelyn

To begin with, starting even at the age of 8, my mother had my little brother and I constantly took care of him. I loved having a little brother so much that I am actually going to college to be a teacher now. I've been going to church since I was in pre-school. Since the age of 13, I have been an active helper in my churches nursery. I deal with kids from newborn to about 3 years old in there. I also help in the older kids' room for Sunday School sometimes. This varies in ages from three to six. Additionally, I participate in counseling the youth group, Vacation Bible School, and many other activities for children. With church, I am around kids up to the age of 13. I have also babysat for a while. Again, those ages have varied anywhere from newborn to about 12 or 13. Additionally, I am currently attending Lewis University and have just finished my Junior year. I am majoring in Early Childhood Special Education because teaching and helping kids grow have always been my passion!
