Greetings! I am seeking new families to provide part-time or occasional care for during summers, college breaks, weekends, whatever you need. I am currently taking a class which will be done on 4/11/20. I have experience with children of all ages, including children with special needs. I have worked as a counselor in training at two summer camp programs and routinely babysit for several families. I was a three-sport athlete and played two sports. I love the outdoors and enjoy being active with children. I am comfortable with any activities a child may experience, such as reading and arts and crafts as well. My approach to babysitting is to naturally get to know the child(ren), their interests, their learning style, and the best way to support positive behavior - then model what we do and how I babysit after their needs. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have and provide references.

Our son liked Katelyn right away, and often asks us to "do it like Katelyn does it" for various little tricks she has for getting him dressed. She is good at communicating, and asked for check-ins when needed. She was always on time, if not early, and was willing to be flexible and make up hours when we had to make adjustments to the schedule. Katelyn is very proactive about safety related concerns, and even brought her own first aid kid. She also brought crafts and healthy snacks to make and share with our son. She always check in with us before sharing any foods with him. She is a very responsible, and sweet person.
