About Kate

I'm looking to help out for occasional date nights, girls' nights, overnights, or weekends for a few families. I'm not looking for anything full/part time, consistent, or during the day. I've taken care of children for 30+ years (so hard to believe!) and at one point I counted and have babysat/nannied for over 150 families over the years. During this time, I've cared for children ranging in age from 1 day to 18 years, twins, and children with developmental disabilities. I've done many overnights and vacations, staying home with children while parents traveled (at most was 10 days), and also traveling with families to a variety of places. Despite having a professional job (and holding both bachelor's and master's degrees) this has always been something I've loved doing and thus I continue to do on the side. I don't want to write a review...we want to keep Kate all to ourselves! She's been the perfect babysitter for our family. She's been watching our 3 young boys occasionally for the last couple of months and we couldn't be happier. This is our first non-family babysitter and the experience has been very positive thanks to Kate. She's responsive, professional, reliable and friendly. And I don't mean those as just bullet points in a sentence. Each of them should be followed by an exclamation! She promptly replies to all of my requests, she confirms dates/times appropriately, she shows up on time or early and is always pleasant. Best of all, she's great with our boys and they really like spending time with her. We don't feel an ounce of hesitation leaving her with our children. Again, we couldn't ask for anything more. I would highly recommend Kate to anyone looking for an occasional babysitter for their children.
