About Kate

Having grown up the middle of 7 children, I've never known a life without caring for kids. I started babysitting when I was 8 and have always loved it! It makes me happy to make kids feel safe, loved, and encouraged. I am getting a degree in human biology and a minor in psychology and want to one day work in pediatrics! I'd love to apply my skills and help families in any way I can! I'd describe my personality as adaptive, adventurous, and determined. I like working with kids because I love their personalities and seeing how they grow and learn. I'm looking for a job that allows me to also learn and grow while helping people. In my spare time, I like to spend time with the people I love, be outdoors, watch/play sports, do nails, listen to/play music, and travel. One thing you should know about me is I am very flexible and go with the flow and could help last minute if needed. My skills include bringing activities for the kids, keeping things tidy, and conflict management.
