About Kate

Hello! My name is Kate and I am currently a sophomore studying Early Childhood Education at Commonwealth University, Lock Haven. I have 7 years of experience working with children including weeknight babysitting, summer nannying, substitute teaching, Preschool aiding, and summer camp counseling. In my experience, I have worked with families with children ages 6 months through 13 years old. The thing I love most about working with children is getting to foster their curiosity, playfulness, creativity, and desire to learn about the world around them. I'd describe my personality as caring, motivated, and responsible. My skills include engaging in child-directed play, reading and telling engaging stories, and making small activities feel like big adventures. I would love to connect with your family!
