About Kate

I am a kind, positive, thoughtfully trained and experienced 1:1 behavior aide, working with autistic and trauma- based students ranging in age from 7-21. I enjoy supporting children in their learning and growth environments, utilizing BIPs, IEPs, and that magical combination of familial direction bolstered by BCBAs and school staff. I find that the child's needs are best met with a multi-faceted approach centered on behavior intervention, structured routines, clear communication and safety. I enjoy building concrete and stable relationships with children and their families, in assurance that we are all a part of one team, with the shared goal of loving, encouraging support. I am warm, reliable, upbeat, and occasionally silly. I believe in celebrating life's small wins, life's small beauties, and life's small joys. I hope to be a part of this kind of journey with you.
