About Kate

My personality is playful, intuitive, and open-minded. I love working with kids - there's so much to learn from them, they're fun to be around, and they bring light into my life. I began babysitting at 14 and nannied throughout high school and college for kids ages 2 to 12. For nearly three years, I was a full-time nanny for one family's daughter, from 6 months to 3 years old - first in New York, then Los Angeles. I'm still close with them today. I work in theater, film, and comedy. I trained under French master clown Philippe Gaulier and integrate much of my training into play with kids as a nanny and in my everyday life. I'm an outside kid and love to be active in nature. I also have 4+ years of experience as a coach, volunteer, and camp counselor for kids and adults with intellectual disabilities.
