About Kate

Hi! I'm Kate, and I have nearly 10 years of childcare experience caring for children and teens of all ages. For the past 2. 5 years, I've been a dedicated nanny for a teenage boy, and throughout college I consistently babysat and cared for several local families. I also have experience working with children on the autism spectrum in both short- and long-term caregiving roles. I recently earned my bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Applied Psychology, including coursework in child development and developmental psychology. The safety and well-being of the children in my care are always my top priorities. I'm certified in CPR & First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, and have completed Mandated Reporter Training. I love creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children feel valued and families have peace of mind. I'm also comfortable with pets!
