About Kate

Hi! I am a mathematics tutor with a variety of experience working with children in different roles, including babysitter, camp counselor, teacher, math interventionist, and tutor. Tutoring has been my favorite, as the one-on-one/small group setting allows for a better opportunity to get to know them. I am excited for new babysitting and nannying opportunities for that same reason. I enjoy being not only a tutor, but a role model and mentor as well. I offer academic enrichment activities during babysitting and nannying sessions. I take pride in my warm, calm presence, and positive attitude. I utilize social-emotional learning when disciplining. My students enjoy working with me so much because of the level of respect I give them, in addition to the fun I incorporate into our sessions.
