About Kate

Hi, I'm Kate. I'm currently completing my pre-licensure counseling hours and am looking for meaningful, engaging part-time work. I started caring for seniors in my 20s and now have about 3 years of experience, including assisted living and in-home care. I've provided companionship and helped with meal prep, bathing, transportation, errands, and daily activities. I'm calm, friendly, humorous, patient, reliable, and very present. I'm also a great listener and genuinely enjoy hearing people's stories and learning from their wisdom. I believe in treating everyone with kindness, dignity, and respect while helping make day-to-day life a little more manageable. I have a degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology and a personal training certification, so I'm comfortable supporting gentle movement and walks when appropriate. I'm also happy to help with pets, light housekeeping, and other needs. In my free time, I enjoy walking outdoors and listening to live music with friends.
