About Kate

Hello! My name is Kate. I have previously worked in classroom settings for elementary age children and special needs children. I have several years of experience caring for children via babysitting. I also have the experience of having a sibling with severe disabilities, and care for her often. I find it incredibly rewarding to support families and foster growth. I am patient, calm, creative, friendly and love to be silly. I am comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing games and age appropriate activities while being educational. I am happy to help with cooking, grocery shopping, and light housekeeping. I am currently in college, and am looking for a part time childcare gig while I am living at home. I hold current First Aid and CPR Training certifications, as well as my Oregon food handlers card. I am also diabetes trained. I would love to bring my skills and enthusiasm to your family.
