About Kate

I started working with children when I was in high school, first helping care for my younger siblings and cousins. As my experience grew, I began working in the nursery at my church, where I was responsible for supervising and caring for groups of up to 10 children ages 2-3 at a time. This role taught me how to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment while managing different personalities, keeping children entertained, assisting with snacks and activities, and ensuring each child received individual attention and care. Working with young children has strengthened my patience, responsibility, and genuine love for helping kids learn and grow. In my spare time, I like to read and paint! Keeping my mind active is important to me as well as being physically active. I used to play soccer until I was hurt though I still enjoy running and going to the gym.
