About Kate

Hi, my name is Kate and I love the outdoors, walking/hiking/biking or anything active, arts & crafts, cooking, and, of course, kids! I relocated to Brooklyn for a job in documentary production after graduating from Northeastern University in 2021. I have more than a decade of babysitting experience, including multiple long term positions as a nanny and au pair with children ages two months to 16 years. My numerous and varied roles as a caretaker have taught me to meet kids, and parents, where they are at. I know there is not a single technique or parenting style that works well for kids, it really depends on the dynamic already at play within the family and the individual needs of each person, which is why I approach new job opportunities with an open mind and listening ear.
