About Kate

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy Student, I spend a lot of my time in the books. I'm looking for a tutoring experience where I can share my study skills, motivate young learners, and prove that learning can be fun! I've been told I have "golden retriever-like energy" and find myself to maintain an optimistic attitude, something I find conducive to a successful tutor. I look forward to working with and getting to know the next student I will have the privilege to meet. I'd describe my personality as friendly, motivated, and adaptable. I started tutoring in high school for students who were struggling in AP Biology. I then tutored athletes in college at Michigan State University in courses including anatomy, philosophy, and psychology.
