About Kate

Hello I'm Kate! I'm a recent graduate at UIOWA, studying Criminology, Law, and Justice in hopes to pursue a career in youth and family services! My entire life I have grown up around children and always taking care of them. I started when I was 14 years old at an at-home daycare where I was taking care of 11 kids!! Since then I knew I had a spark when it came to kids and interacting with them! Fast forward 6 years, since being in college I have worked with a few families and have loved every experience that I've had!! I believe it's important to create a fun, loving, caring and positive environment for every child and to take their emotions and needs into consideration all the time!! I have loved being able to watch all the kiddos grow and create a bond with them and memories that they will never forget!!
