About Kate

Hi, I'm Kate! I'm a licensed Speech Therapist with over 4 years of experience working with children of all ages, from infants through school-aged. I recently relocated to McLean, VA with my partner, who is active duty military and attending Georgetown University. Before becoming a speech therapist, I spent many years nannying and babysitting throughout high school and college, and I continue to love supporting children's growth, creativity, and routines. I have five younger siblings myself, so caring for children and keeping a household running smoothly has always been a big part of my life. I'm organized, proactive, and love creating systems that help families feel less stressed and more supported. I enjoy arts and crafts, outdoor play, and active time with kids, and I value structure and consistency to help children thrive.
