About Kat

I have been involved with pet care for over 10 years and professionally for 5. I grew up with animals and really care a great deal for them. Currently, I work for a family with four dogs and three cats. The dogs and I enjoy taking long walks and the cats love playing games in the house. Two of the dogs are older and so I make sure and take special care when we walk and not over do things. If they get tired I typically will walk them separate from the younger dogs. I love prepping healthy meals for the dogs, with carrots and cod liver oil to keep them radiant. The cats take food from the can and get special treats on occasion. I have experience giving medication, feeding with e-tube, and working with older animals who have special needs due to nerve damage, cancer, broken bones and other ailments. I've enjoyed caring for Golden Retrievers, Mutts, Labradoodles, Schnauzers, Lhasa Apsos, Terriers, Sheep dogs, Miniature Collies, Poodles, Labs and German Shepherds. Cats are so fun and I find each one has a distinct personality and enjoys different levels of affection. I understand that each pet requires unique attention and look forward to hearing what your pet needs!
