I am a 22-year-old who will be graduating from Northeastern University in May 2022 with a behavioral neuroscience major and journalism minor. For the past three summers, I have worked as a counselor and program director at a camp for people with disabilities. To see these campers of all ages and abilities gain independence and be free to do things they don't do in their typical environment is magical. I've learned the only disability in life is the inability to see everyone as able. That no one is defined by their disability, they just have a unique way of getting things done. I am here to spend time building relationships with others and providing respite care for these families that do so much for their loved ones. I am here to learn, be inclusive, to love all abilities.
