About Kasondra

I started working with kids when I was in high school as a summer nanny. I worked with the family for 9 years and was able to watch two girls grow up. Together we did outdoor time, arts and crafts, reading/math tutoring, cooking/baking fun, nap time, movies, indoor dramatic play, and trips to participate in local community activities. In my spare time, I like to hike with friends at the local parks. I tutor and coach volleyball after school. I love cooking, gardening, and reading. When it is warm I love to sit by the pool soaking up the North Carolina sun. I am currently a 3rd grade teacher with a Special Education degree. I tutor both reading after school. I have a passion for what I do and love working with kids. My skills include patience, flexibility, and creativity. I have worked with kids who have different abilities both academically and behaviorally. I love to get parent input on what their expectations are so I can meet them when possible as well.
