About Karyn

Hello! I'm a Certified Assistant Montessori Teacher in Syracuse, NY, with 9+ years of experience working with children from infancy through the teenage years. I hold a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I'm a creative, hands-on caregiver who loves researching and creating engaging, developmentally appropriate activities tailored to each child's needs and interests. My Montessori background emphasizes independence, real-life activities, and hands-on learning. I also love outings, from parks and libraries to museums and other opportunities to explore the world! I especially enjoy working with infants and toddlers, supporting their development through nurturing care, sensory experiences, and meaningful interactions. I'm open to relocating for the right professional nanny position, live-in or live-out. I have a small dog, so I'm looking for a family comfortable with that arrangement.
