Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. I have over 30 years of teaching experience and a graduate degree in middle school education. I am a Certified Teacher dedicated to fostering a love for learning in upper elementary and middle school students. I specialize in English, general social studies, geography and study skills. I strive to create an engaging, patient environment where complex concepts become manageable. By connecting lessons to personal interests and celebrating every "aha!" moment, I help build the confidence necessary for long-term success. I prioritize open communication with families to ensure my methods perfectly align with each student's unique learning style. Whether we meet at a library, school, or another preferred location, I am ready to support each child's academic journey. I truly look forward to helping each student discover just how much they are capable of achieving.
