Hello! I'm Karsten and I've been babysitting for 3 years. I'm CPR, AED, and First Aid certified. I'm a non-smoker, and I have reliable transportation. I grew up in (and still have) a large family, so I thrive in the chaos of noisy, child-filled homes. My first experience working in childcare was as an assistant at Stepping Stones Preschool's Summer Daycare. It was then that I learned I'm a natural at interacting with and taking care of children. Since then, I've regularly sat for roughly 6 different families, most of them with 2 children for me to watch. I'd describe my personality as friendly, outgoing, and creative. I'm a diligent worker, able to balance many different tasks at once, and a patient caretaker. I pride myself on my ability to adapt to any space, quickly memorizing the unique rules and routines of each household. I'm happy to prepare meals and complete household chores as needed. Karsten has been working with our kids for a few weeks now. She comes from a big family so knows how to take care of children. Our twins are now 10 months old. She's able to take care of them and they both love her. From the time she started, she wanted to know the rules of the house, feeding times, how to put the babies to sleep and learned it very quickly. She's helped us also with whatever we've needed to do around the house from dishes to folding clothes. She sees herself as being here to help on in anyway she can. And she's been flexible with our changing schedule. We've had a great experience thus far and would highly recommend her.
