I have two goals when babysitting, creating a safe but fun environment for the kids, and bring peace of mind to the parents. Recently I lost my Uncle to a rare strand of lymphatic cancer. But before his passing he and my Aunt were back and forth from hospitals. I became a live in nanny for my 13 and 6-year-old cousins. My duties involved school drop offs and pick ups. Helping with homework, cooking, cleaning, laundry. Grocery shopping, taking them to after school activities. Some days were harder for the kids so I would comfort them. Also taking care of both kids when all three of us got a bad stomach bug. Although it was a sad time, I learned a lot about child care during this. I am also certified in CPR, AED, First Aid, and I have a Red Cross certificate in babysitting!
