I am a long-time resident of Kauai and have 3 beautiful children of my own. Prior to having my own children, I nannied for several families in Oregon and California and am still close to them as they have grown up. I also have taught preschool. Children have always brought me joy and enriched my life. I love having adventures with my children and currently homeschool my two youngest (ages 6 & 7). I have a culinary degree and enjoy cooking and teaching children how to cook. I genuinely enjoy children of all ages and my children love interacting with others. As I have flexible hours with my job, I am looking for a way to earn income doing something I love! I can help with schoolwork, take children on Kauai adventures (our family loves hiking and the beach!) or doing fun crafts, whatever suits the children's needs/interests. Since I have my own children, it's easiest for me to watch additional children in my family-friendly home in Wailua.

Over the five months she worked with our children, Karolyn continually exceeded our expectations as a caregiver. She knows so many safe, beautiful places for children to play outside, and she sent pictures and videos each day to keep us updated on their exciting activities. She is honest, dependable, caring, and kind. We will sincerely miss her when we move back to the mainland. Any family will be very lucky to have the blessing of her excellent care!
