My name is Karolliny, I am 31 years old, originally from Brazil, and I have been living in the U. S. for almost 3 years. My experience with elderly care began in my teenage years, as I was raised by my maternal grandparents. At 23, I became responsible for managing all aspects of my grandmother's care, as well as her sister's. For more than 5 years, I was deeply involved in their daily lives, taking them to doctor's appointments, managing medications, supporting their nutrition, and ensuring they had consistent attention and companionship. My grandmother is now 89, and her sister lived into her 90s. Through this lifelong experience, I developed a deep respect, love, and appreciation for seniors. Caring for the elderly has shaped me as a person and inspired me to turn this passion into my profession. I'd describe my personality as organized, detail-oriented, and attentive. Caring for the elderly is not just a job for me, it's something I truly value and enjoy.
