About Karmen

Hello! I'm Karmen, a certified nursing assistant and nursing student with nearly five years of hands-on caregiving experience. I genuinely love caring for people and building trusting, long-term relationships with the families I work with. I have experience in both professional and private-home care and have built meaningful rapport with multiple clients and families. I'm comfortable with hands-on personal care, mobility assistance, safe transfers, Hoyer and ceiling lifts, and responding calmly and appropriately to changing needs. I'm also BLS/CPR certified. My healthcare experience has taught me to be attentive, dependable, compassionate, and proactive when someone is relying on me for their care. I'm currently pursuing my nursing degree and have completed coursework in child development. I'm excited to expand my experience with childcare and would love the opportunity to work with a family looking for someone responsible, patient, and genuinely engaged with their children.
