Although I haven't held a formal paid position in senior care, I've gained meaningful experience caring for my grandmother who has dementia, which has given me firsthand insight into the patience, compassion, and attention needed to support older adults. Through my education, I've also learned about a variety of medical and cognitive diagnoses, which has better prepared me to understand and respond to the unique needs of seniors. I genuinely enjoy spending time with older adults, listening to their stories, and offering companionship.
