I spent two months last summer in the jungles of Honduras helping in a children's center and their missions hospital. I was the primary caregiver for a 1-year-old boy who had several critical physical and mental disabilities. I also worked with several other children who needed help physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I have done several years of volunteer work, and more recently, pain work in elementary special education classrooms. Working with and helping kids with special needs is something I am very passionate about and have always enjoyed doing. The kids bring so much joy to me!
