About Karli

Hi, I'm Kiwi (they/them)! I have over 15 years of experience working with youth and their families in a variety of settings including schools, homes, daycares and residential programs. I believe it is important to respect children's autonomy while also teaching boundaries, respect, justice and building independence. I love planning activities (crafts, sensory bins, fun developmental skills practice) and outings (parks, zoo, libraries, etc.)to break up our days. I try to incorporate outside time, art and reading into everyday, but will also ensure your priorities are integrated into our days. My current position is ending as I move to Chicago for grad school and I am hoping to find a family with similar values and approaches.
