About Karlie

I have my CPR cert for adults and babies, I'm First Aid certified, and a Food Handlers cert. I have a fingerprint clearance card in date. I've taken safety classes of driving with children. I am also a Quality First certified teacher. I started working with children as a teenager helping a family friend in her daycare then babysitting. I'm working on my degree in ECE. I started working at Daycares as the co-lead of the three's class handling 8 children on my own. I was lead in the Two's classroom. We would help everywhere so I have experience with children from 0-13. I have a lot of experience keeping kids occupied and stimulated, helping their growth in different skills. Whether that be arts and crafts, reading, scissor cutting, or movement. I can help with homework and I love being active. I have plenty of experience changing diapers and potty training! My daycare was big on redirection and positive reinforcement, I have been able to come up with successful ways to encourage that.
