About Karlie

Hi my name is Karlie and I am a student athlete at Rutgers University! I've loved working with kids for as long as I can remember! I have experience as a life guard as well as a being a camp counselor for children and adults with cognitive and physical disabilities. I believe that when working with kids it's important to meet them where they are at, make sure they feel heard and supported and most importantly to have fun! I'd describe my personality as Enthusiastic, Hardworking, and Caring I like working with kids because I love making a positive impact in people lives In my spare time, I like to read, play with my cat, and do activities that get me outside and in nature My skills include patience, empathy, and communication
