Hello there! I am a 22-year-old, full time dental student. I am recently married and I have casually babysat for friends and family since I was 12. Among those I babysat were: a child with several food allergies, a child with down syndrome, and everything in between! In conjunction with babysitting, I also worked as a dental assistant in a pediatric office for two years. I spent a lot of my time looking after the children as they waited for procedures, and helped calm them down when they were frightened. Because of my experience, I am completely confident that I could keep children happy and entertained for hours at at time. Because I am in school, I am CPR certified. I am also trained on how to use an epi pen, and I completed a course that covered basic protocol for a variety of emergency situations. All standard at my college.
